Community Impact Support Specialist
The Early Learning Coalition of Northwest Florida is looking for a candidate that has a can-do-attitude, is tenacious, energetic, hardworking, innovative, resourceful, and creative to join its Community Impact Team.
Essential Duties and Qualifications:
- Work as part of a team to support, facilitate, and sustain program activities for young children (0-8) and their families.
- Ensure all special program and grant program requirements are met according to the grant while facilitating and/or attending events.
- Identifies and participates in opportunities to promote the purpose, mission, and services of the Coalition in the community, as required by the grant agreement(s).
- Provide support to families who do not use traditional child care to ensure they have the resources they need to support their child’s early learning.
- Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the position
- Associate’s degree in early childhood education, child development, or another relevant field.
- 2 years’ experience in early education could substitute for the degree.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
Employment with the Coalition for this position is contingent upon an annual appropriation by the Legislature and funding by the Department of Education/Office of Early Learning. In addition, this position is grant funded and will end on June 30, 2026. In the event the federal, state, and/or local funds upon which employment is dependent are withdrawn or redirected, employment may be terminated, and the Coalition shall have no further liability to the employee beyond that already incurred prior to the termination date.

Employment in this position is contingent upon obtaining and maintaining satisfactory:
Verification of Required Education and/or Credentials
- Level II Background Check
- Drug Screen
- Valid Florida Driver License
- Valid Automobile Insurance – if applicable
- Access to Reliable Transportation – if applicable

- High Speed Internet Access that can be maintained daily, with at least 50Mbps when working in a secure home location.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary Range: $25-$29 hourly
